1. Ions are diffused.

Plasmacluster ions are identical to the positive and negative ions found in nature. These ions are surrounded by water molecules and released into the air.

Ions are long-lived * 3 because they are surrounded by water molecules.

2. The ions stick to suspended allergens and mold.

The ions create highly oxidizing OH radicals which stick to the surfaces of molds or viruses. The ions immediately remove hydrogen from surface proteins, eventually destroying the contaminants.

3. Back into the air in the form of water/moisture.

OH radicals combine with hydrogen (H) to create water (H2O), which naturally returns to the air.

Mold deactivation

Mould spores are carried on clothing and in the air, and can trigger an allergic reaction if inhaled. Sharp's long-life HEPA filter catches 99.97% of airborne particles (including mold spores) as small as 0.3 microns.

Allergen deactivation

Virus deactivation
